Getting started
How do I become a Supertax client?
Call (03) 7074 8818, email info@supertax.com.au or send an enquiry using the form above. We'll arrange a time to understand your situation and explain how we can help.
Where are you located?
Our office is at Suite 1, 7 Bridge St, Werribee VIC 3030. We work with clients across Wyndham, including Point Cook, Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Wyndham Vale, Truganina and Williams Landing, and with clients Australia-wide by phone and video.
What are your opening hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Online appointments are available until 8pm, and weekend appointments can be arranged on request.
Which languages do you speak?
Consultations are available in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. Let us know your preferred language when you book.
I'm switching from another accountant. Is that difficult?
No. With your authority we can be added as your tax agent and access your ATO records, and we can request any records we need from your previous accountant.
Fees and appointments
How much do you charge?
Fees depend on the work involved. We'll give you a clear quote before we start, so there are no surprises.
Are accounting fees tax deductible?
Fees for managing your tax affairs, including preparing your tax return, are generally deductible in the year you pay them.
Can I meet by phone or video?
Yes. Many clients never need to visit the office. You can send documents by email and meet by phone or video.
Tax returns
What do I need to bring for my tax return?
Download our individual tax return checklist from the checklists above. It lists the income, deduction and personal details we need. Investment property owners and sole traders have their own checklists too.
When is my tax return due?
If you lodge yourself, your return is generally due by 31 October. If you're on a registered tax agent's client list before that date, you may have more time under the agent lodgement program.
Can you lodge returns for previous years?
Yes. We can prepare and lodge overdue returns and, where appropriate, ask the ATO to remit late lodgement penalties.
How do I know an ATO call is genuine?
The ATO will never demand payment by gift card or cryptocurrency. If you're unsure, hang up and call the ATO on its official number, or contact us. Read our guide to checking ATO calls.
Business and SMSF
Which accounting software do you use?
We work with Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB, and use BGL and Class Super for SMSF administration.
Can you help me start a business?
Yes. We advise on structure and handle ABN, business name, GST and PAYG registrations, and set up your accounting system from day one.
Do you prepare and lodge BAS?
Yes, monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on your business.
What is an SMSF Specialist Advisor?
An SMSF Specialist Advisor (SSA®) is accredited by the SMSF Association for their knowledge of self-managed super funds. Hardeep Singh holds this accreditation.
Do you audit SMSFs?
Every SMSF must be audited each year by an independent registered SMSF auditor. We administer your fund and arrange the independent audit for you.
Can you help with Payday Super?
Yes. From 1 July 2026 employers must pay super with each pay run. We help businesses review payroll set-up, pay items and cash flow.
