Tax returns for nurses and healthcare workers.
Nurses, aged care, disability support and other healthcare workers often have work-related costs they don't realise they can claim. We make sure your return reflects them, correctly.
Commonly claimed by healthcare workers
- Professional registration and union fees
- Compulsory or registered uniforms, and their laundry
- Protective items such as non-slip shoes where required
- Training and courses that maintain skills for your current role
- Travel between workplaces or to clients' homes (not home to your usual workplace)
Records that support your claims
- Receipts and invoices for items you've paid for
- Payment summaries and allowances from each employer
- A diary or logbook for work-related car travel
- Records of shift work across multiple employers or agencies
Every return is reviewed personally by a registered tax agent before lodgement. Consultations are available in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.

Can I claim my scrubs?
Compulsory uniforms, including many healthcare uniforms, and the cost of laundering them can generally be claimed. Plain everyday clothing can't.
I work for several agencies. Is that a problem?
Not at all. We'll bring together income and allowances from each employer and make sure your withholding and deductions are reported correctly.
